Agribusiness

This is one of the main pillars of the Santa Catarina economy. In 2020, state production in the sector corresponded to 3.5% of total Brazilian production in the sector (CGAPI/DCI/SPA/MAPA). It also accounts for 31% of state GDP and directly and indirectly generates seven hundred thousand jobs (Observatório FIESC).
